Bricco delle Belle Donne Estate

It is said here that ‘if someone offers you a glass of Ruché, it is because they like you‘.
It’s true! This is why I am happy to host you in these typical farmhouses, built by my ancestors in the early 1800s, and to direct you to the best producers of Ruché and other food and wine products in the area.

You may have wondered why it is called ‘Bricco delle Belle Donne‘?
It is a fascinating story that has its roots in the mid-1800s.
A very large family of 14 brothers and sisters lived in this slightly uphill street, called ‘bricco‘ in Piedmontese dialect.
At the time, large families were common, but one with 14 children was extraordinary. About half of these children were women, so the street was called the street of beautiful women, or the Bricco delle Belle Donne.
It was in this house that my grandfather, my father and finally me were born.
